Racing & Practice this week

We are racing on Tuesday and Sunday this week. You can pre-register either by texting 250-516-1269 or completing the online forms here: http://prereg.victoriabmx.com.

NOTE: Air Quality
As of now, our air quality health index (AQHI) is predicting a level of 8 for tomorrow's race. BMX Canada advises that we cancel when the AQHI goes above 7.  Please stay tuned to Facebook regarding a go/no go situation tomorrow afternoon.

We need lots of volunteers for our Sunday race, including someone to do 50/50.  Please let us know if you are able to help out!

Practice this week is on Thursday - the first hour will be for half trackers and striders - the remaining time will be full track only. Don't forget your toonie!

As always, stay tuned to the Facebook page this week - we will post ASAP each day for the go/no-go.

Tory Nyhaug Clinics - Saturday 10am-1pm

Tory Nyhaug is coming to Victoria BMX! Join the Olympian finalist and Pan Am Gold Medalist to work on your BMX skills to get ready for Provincial Finals!

We will be running 2 clinics as follows:

10am to 1pm - Novice (any age) and Inters 12 & under
2pm to 5pm - Inters 12 & over and Expert (any age) riders

$80 per clinic

Message us ASAP if you would like to attend with the rider's name, age and class. Payment can be by cheque or e-transfer.

Snack Shack - Thursday practices

We are looking for a volunteer to run our snack shack on Thursdays during practice to flip some burgers and cook some hot dogs or maybe a specialty of your choice.  Help share the load of running our track!

"Garden for the Gate" Fundraiser

The Victoria BMX “Garden for the Gate” Fundraiser has started and runs through October 1, 2018. Victoria BMX receives 50% of every order!

If you want to order from Vesey’s Bulbs fall fundraising catalog, send us a message any time during those dates and drop off a cheque or cash payment to the motoshed.

Victoria BMX is not asking members to fundraise, but if you would like to circulate a catalog among friends, family and coworkers, we have several fundraising sets to give out. You are also welcome to share with friends.

Please note: orders are sent to Vesey’s at the end of the fundraising period and Vesey’s will ship after that date. This means you will receive your order in October, which is the right planting time for fall bulbs.
