Congratulations to all riders at the VIC final in Cumberland this last weekend. Unfortunately the weather beat us for our local race yesterday but we have rescheduled for this coming Saturday.

Racing & Practice sessions this week

We have our regular Tuesday/Thursday practice this week plus an extra practice on Saturday morning, followed by a race to make up for the rained out race yesterday. There will be "granny panty" race during the break with treats for winning team!!  This will be followed by our regular race on Sunday.

End of Year Awards Banquet, Saturday October 21st

Riders and family members you are invited to come celebrate rider accomplishments at our annual AWARDS BANQUET on Saturday October 21st at 4pm at Colwood Community Hall.  We ask all families to bring a dish for the potluck.    Please RSVP and complete the form here: https://goo.gl/Zw1RrN.

Each year we recognize our local riders and say THANK YOU to our many volunteers & community sponsors. There is something special for all riders that attend. AGM, Wednesday November 8th

Please note in your diaries our upcoming AGM on Wednesday November 8th, 6:30-8pm at the Juan de Fuca Clubhouse.  This is where we vote in our new Executive team for the 2018 year.

Voting Procedure
Each fully paid member receives one (1) vote if they are fourteen (14) years of age or older, regardless of how many classes the member rides. Members under the age of fourteen (14) years of age, will have one (1) parent or guardian vote on their behalf, regardless of how many classes the member rides. Associate members will not be permitted to vote at a general meeting, special meeting or annual general meeting. Proxy voting will be permitted upon presentation of written authorization to the President of a voting member in good standing for a designated person to do so, prior to the commencement of the meeting. The proxy vote will only be good for the meeting it has been presented at. There will be a maximum of one (1) proxy vote per voting member.

 

Trophies

If you have trophies or trophy parts to donate, we will gladly take them off your hands!  Bring them to the moto shed during any regular practice or race sessions.
