Membership Info
A Membership is required to participate any sanctioned BMX events. The kind of Membership is dictated by the governing association of that track. North Shore BMX belongs to BMX Canada so accordingly North Shore riders will need a BMX Canada Membership to practice and race at the track.
There are quite a few BMX tracks in BC, some of them are sanctioned by BMX Canada and others are members of Cycling BC which are sanctioned by the rules and guidelines of Cycling Canada, which are aligned with UCI. The BMX Canada Membership you purchase at NSBMX allows you to ride at tracks sanctioned by BMX Canada and USA BMX across North America. Please be aware that when you race at tracks associated with Cycling BC you will need to purchase a Cycling BC Membership to race at that track. Many riders hold both memberships to allow access to the best tracks and competition the Canada has to offer. Please go to "Area BMX Tracks" page to check other tracks close by.
There are different types of BMX Canada Memberships which can be purchased at the track. Or you can buy a new membership and renew your membership online to avoid line-ups. Your renewal date stays the same regardless if you renew before it expires. If you don't have your account yet, sign up NOW and get a Virtual Trophy Room!
Here are step-by-step instructions on how to set up your own profile/account.
Just remember to credit North Shore BMX as your home track when you apply online!
Check when your membership expires from here.
If you are a parent or legal guardian please create an account for yourself before renewing or adding any new memberships for riders under the age of 13.
