Well, the 2015 Canadian Grands are finished. It was a phenomenal season for all of our local and national riders. Andrew Hickey was there in full force giving the kids pointers, taking pictures and making sure the kids all had their BMX game on!!

This year was our largest member turnout at the Grands. It's a good indicator that the club is growing and kids are having fun! Two fold success being a great track atmosphere and kids hungry to learn and get better.

I want to start out by saying all of our kids performed well, mains galore all weekend long. I never grew tired of hearing “North Shore BMX” over the announcers commentary. A special mention to Eric Town; he is the first of a wave of kids turning expert. He is fast and hungry but the transition to a stacked expert class is not easy. Eric held his head up high, was encouraging to others in making mains or doing well. Eric Town, great job on being a great role model. We will need your help soon into the 2016 year to keep the newly turned NSBMX’perts going when they are emotionally down. Stick with it and expert class will be a breeze in a year or so!!!
