About Stouffville BMX
In 2006 Track Developer, Brendan Arnold approached the Town of Whitchurch Stouffville to help build a BMX Track. The Mayor at that time didn't see a need for more recreational activities. In 2008 a new Mayor, Mr Wayne Emmerson opened up a conversation with Brendan and over the next 7 years discussions took place to investigate the opportunity for a track.
In 2014 the Stouffville BMX track finally had a breakthrough with the TRCA (Toronto Conservation Authority) donating a piece of land to the Town to jumpstart this exciting project. In 2014 the track was built and in 2015 the track has been awarded a Trillium Foundation grant to upgrade the track to create a facility that is able to host events and programs for the community.
It took 7 years of hard work, patience and dedication but Stouffville BMX @ Bruces Mill is finally a reality.
Stouffville BMX is proud to be partnered with BMX Canada, The Ontario Cycling Association, Town of Whitchurch Stouffville, TRCA and the Trillium Foundation.
The club is registered as non for profit and will be running events under the BMXCanada sanction.
