Chula Vista, Calif. (September 27, 2013) – Friday night's final UCi BMX Supercross World Cup Superfinal TT ended with two American's taking the top spots on the podium.

Factory GT's Felicia Stancil and Chase BMX's Connor Fields were the winners of the Superfinal Time Trials as the sun set in Chula Vista, CA. For Stancil, this win was a huge boost for her as this was her first race back on a SX track since her fall in Manchester earlier this year. That fall would leave her sidlelined for multiple months but now she is back and looking better than ever. You could see the intensity in her eyes as she powered down the 8 meter starting hill with the goliath first jump staring her down in the face. Stancil rode with much confidence and there is no doubt she will come out swinging in her Elite Women's debut next year.

Once again Connor Fields showed his comfort with the SX series and sealed yet again another TT victory. Fields looked like a poised champion while on the track today. Cruising lower and smoother than anyone else in the field and attacking the course with more vigor than most. While this is another great win for Fields, the battle has only begun as he still must fight through the field of 64 in tomorrows final showdown. With riders such as Sam Willoughby, Liam Phillips, Barry Nobles, Corben Sharrah, Tory Nyhaug, and Van Gorkem all laying down blazing track times, it is still up in the air as to who will come across the stripe first tomorrow.

Congratulations to both Felicia Stancil and Connor Fields on their wins today. Check back tomorrow evening for the latest updates and images from the final stop of the GSX Supercross World Cup here in Chula Vista, CA. Presented by USA BMX.
