There’s never been a better time to get excited about Canadian BMX. Olympic prospects Molly Simpson and Ryan Tougas are inspiring a new generation of riders, while the BMX Canada National Series provides the competition and opportunities they need to develop and progress.

The 2027 Canadian National Series will visit legendary tracks across Ontario and BC including the revival of the Can-Am Nationals at Abbotsford BMX. Get ready for an exciting year of BMX action across the country.

Fraser Valley Nationals 
May 7-9 • Chilliwack, BC • Heritage Park

Each year, we kick off the BMX Canada National series at Chilliwack Heritage Park in Chilliwack, BC. The place known as the “Red Barn” has been a staple of the BMX Canada series producing amazing action-packed racing. The perfect chance to snag some early season points and sharpen up your skills. 

Limestone Nationals 
June 11-13 • Kingston ON • Kingston BMX 

The second stop on the tour takes us into the province of Ontario to Kingston BMX. Kingston is known as “Limestone City" for its grand 19th-century buildings, including the lakeside Kingston City Hall. This event has always created a ton of excitement on and off the track and draws riders from Ontario, Quebec and USA.

Rattler Nationals 
June 18-20 • Vernon, BC • Vernon BMX

The third stop on the tour takes us back to British Columbia to Vernon BMX.  Located in the North Okanagan region, Vernon is surrounded by lakes and regarded as the 'Trails Capital of BC". The scenic views you will see traveling to this event are nothing short of breathtaking. If you are looking for an amazing summer vacation, this is the event for you.

Maple Leaf Nationals 
August 6-8 • Milton, ON • Milton BMX

The fourth stop on the tour takes us back across the country to Ontario to Milton BMX, one of the longest running tracks in the country. This event has been on the schedule for many years, and each year it seems to bring more excitement. Milton is located just outside of Toronto, the Capital of Ontario. Once racing is done, you will have plenty of time for sightseeing in this beautiful city.

Can-Am Nationals 
September 10-12 • Abbotsford, BC • Abbotsford BMX Outdoor

In the early days of BMX in the Pacific Northwest, the Can-Am Nationals became a legendary showdown between Canadian and American riders—the ultimate cross-border battle.  In 2027, this iconic event returns as the final stop of the series before the Canadian Grands. With national pride on the line and riders from both sides of the border ready to compete, expect some epic international battles!

 

BMX Canada Grand Nationals
October 8-10 • Chilliwack, BC • Heritage Park

This is the weekend that the riders have worked so hard for, and the intensity is through the roof. Who will be crowned the 2027 champions and have their names etched in the BMX Canada story books?

"Gotta go the Grands"!  The series comes to a thrilling conclusion at Chilliwack Heritage Park where the season started. Riders and families have traveled to amazing facilities earning points towards BMX Canada end-of-year awards as well as making memories that will last a lifetime. 

The Superclass titles are settled on Saturday evening as part of the fan-friendly Superclass Saturday show. It's the Grands for Superclass and it also features the 13-16 Futures Showdown and the 11-12 Trophy Dash. 

Get ready for a 'barnburner' as we close out the 2027 season.
