We had a few One Trak Mind riders participate in the Lumberjack Nationals at Columbia Basin BMX in Richland WA on 13 & 14 September 2014.  It is the 2nd time we've been there in the last month, with the last being for the WA state finals in late August.  Caleb Fredrickson (15 I), Trenton Moore (12 I) and Ethan Patmore(12 I) all raced in this really exciting event.  Caleb and Ethan made their Main Events both days with both getting 5th on Saturday, Caleb pulling a 3rd and Ethan a 4th on Sunday.  Trenton didn't make the main on Saturday but on Sunday (facing the same competition) he was poised to make the main with a strong 3rd place in the first round.  In the 2nd round he got a good gate, moved to the inside in the first turn in 2nd place and got tied up with another rider exiting the turn.  They both went down, and the 4th place rider zoomed by to the transfer position, but Trenton got up and finished out his lap strong finishing in 3rd place!  This was the first National race for the team and all who participated learned a lot and had a great time!  Hopefully we can get more team members to next years regional nationals and maybe run a trophy team sheet to see how we stack up!
