For the past thirty years, Silver Dollar BMX has served the community of Chico, and surrounding communities, by offering an opportunity to participate in the exciting sport of Bicycle MotoCross (BMX).  Our mission is to promote the sport of BMX, support riders who are currently participating, and to encourage and support those just getting started. 

​Silver Dollar BMX operates on the Silver Dollar BMX track located near the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico. The open-air track is approximately 1100 feet in length and was designed and built by dedicated lifelong BMX racers and parents. Special credit for construction of the track goes to Robert Kennedy, Steve Duggan, Wade Wilson Jr. & Sr., and Mike Gage. 

SILVER DOLLAR BMX PRACTIVE & RACE SCHEDULE*

RACE DAYS:

Thursday: Registration/Practice 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Racing starts soon after registration closes at 7pm. Practice is $5 per rider on a pedal bike and $2.00 per rider on a strider.
Practice + Racing is $10 per rider.

Sunday: Registration/Practice 10:00am - 11:00am
Racing starts soon after registration closes at 11:00am. Practice is $5 per rider on a pedal bike and $2.00 on a strider.
Practice + Racing is $10 per rider.

PRACTICE:

Tuesdays:
4:30pm - 5:30pm - Strider / Low Pressure
5:30pm - 7:00pm - Open Practice
7:00pm - 8:30pm - Expert / 14+
Practice is $5 per rider on a pedal bike and $2.00 per rider on a strider.


​* Schedule is subject to change dependent on weather. For regular updates regarding track schecule please follow the track's Facebook page. Updates will be posted at least two (2) hours prior to practice/ and or race registration. All riders must be registered as members of USA BMX in order to participate in practices or races. First-time riders may particpate in one practice or racing session with a free one-day temporary membership. Annual or Temporary memberships may be obtained through USA BMX or at the Silver Dollar BMX racetrack. 

Practice and race fees are due at the time of service. Silver Dollar BMX accepts payment by cash or credit/debit card.​
