New Vernon BMX Bring-A-Buddy Challenge offers up $5,000 in Prizes
Imagine if every Vernon BMX member recruited just one new rider this year – Our local program would get a huge boost with more riders, bigger motos and way more fun.
– That’s where you come in.
We need your help to encourage your friends (Buddies) to try out the sport and in return, we’re rewarding you with incentives to win some sweet prizes. We’re offering up to $5,000 in prizes for both you and your Buddy!
HOW TO GET STARTED:
1. Hand out the FREE TRIAL BMX CARDS to any friend who you think will like BMX.
When any of your ‘Buddies’ redeems a Free Trial Card, you get 100 points and both you & your buddy go into the weekly prize draw. (Cards available at registration)
2. Tell your Buddies about the program and how they can also win prizes. After they participate in their Free Trail (Race and Practice), they are entered into a weekly prize draw. If they become Vernon BMX members (with BMX Canada license) their name goes into the main prize draw for a new Chase Bike or BMX Parts Upgrade* (*details in the Prizing section)
3. Collect Points and Win prizes!
100 points - Each time a Free Trail Card is redeemed and used.
300 Bonus points - if a Buddy joins the club with a BMX Canada Membership*.
(*your buddy must be new to BMX and have never held a BMX Canada membership)
HOW TO WIN PRIZES:
Weekly Prize Draws: May 7, 14, 21, 28 / June 4, 11, 18, 25 / July 2, 9
Final Draw Date: Tuesday, July 16
Prizes include: Chase BMX Bike, Race Parts Upgrade, Helmet, T-shirts, Apparel, Custom BMX Jersey, Gift Cards and more
For Vernon BMX Members (Recruiters)
1. Weekly Draws – Each time one of your Buddies redeems and uses their Free Trial Card, your name goes into the Weekly Prize draw.
2. Points Draws – As you collect points, you can win some of the bigger prizes -
500 Point Club – First 20 riders to earn 500 points win a sweet Prize Pack
2000 Point Club – First recruiter to earn 2000 points wins the Custom BMX Jersey.
Top Points – The Recruiter who earns the most points by the end of the program will win the new Chase BMX Bike or the Race Parts UPgrade!
For Buddies (New Riders)
1. Weekly Draws – After you participate in your Free Trail (Race and Practice), you are entered into the weekly prize draw.
2. Main Prize Draw - If you join the club with a BMX Canada license you are entered into the main prize draw for a new Chase Bike or BMX Parts Upgrade on July 16. (The (Top Recruiter gets to choose between those two options and the winning ‘Buddy’ will get the other top prize)

Who can you hand out cards to? Anyone you think might like to try BMX but that have to be new to BMX and have not held a BMX Canada license before.
If my friend already has a Trial BMX Membership, can I get points for them? No, this is for new riders starting on from April 30 to July 16.
Can a Buddy (New Rider) who joins Vernon BMX (with a BMX Canada Membership) then be a Recruiter to win prizes? – Yes
