ONE DAY TRIAL MEMBERSHIP

If you've never participated in any of our events, you'll need a membership to try it out, luckily we offer free one-day BMX Canada and Cornwall BMX Club memberships valid for any Local Single Point Race or Gate Practice (sorry they don't apply to our clinics or our charity races). Just fill out this form and then sign up for a Gate Practice or Race!

Don't forget to select "Cornwall BMX" as the track hosting the event, and to also read and fill out the complete form including the correct date of the event.

Join us for the Cornwall BMX Club season opener this Monday!  Online pre-registration is now open and is the preferred method of registration.

COVID-19 Restrictions in Place
On-site registration will be accepted.
On-site registration and practice will be available on race day from 5:30PM to 6:15PM.
Striders/Balance Bikes have the track exclusively from 6:15PMto 6:30PM
Racing Starts at 6:30PM
Valid BMX Canada License is Required. Free one day trials are only available to riders who have never participated in any of our or other BMX Canada sanctioned events. Pre-payment via e-Transfer to cornwallbmxclub@gmail.com is required to secure your spot. 

 

COACHING CLINCS AND LESSONS

Programs: L2RIDE and L2RACE

Learn to Ride (L2RIDE) – This program is designed specifically for first year Novice riders including brand new riders. Only 10 spaces per Block are available.

Tuesdays from 6:00PM to 7:30PM. 

REGISTER ON-SITE

$20 per session or Free 1 Day Trial Membership

Participants must be able to pedal a bike and will require the following equipment:

  • Bike (any kind, but BMX is preferred) with no pegs, no kickstands, and any reflectors that stick out of the bike must be removed.
  • Full Face Helmet
  • Long pants, Long sleeved shirt and gloves.
  • Valid BMX Canada Licence or Free 1 Day Trial required: (Click here to Sign Up) *Remember to pick Cornwall BMX as your home track!

The Learn to Ride program will focus on:

Sitting/Standing, braking, cornering, wheel lifts, gate starts and basic BMX skills on the track.

 

Learn to Race (L2RACE) – This program is designed specifically for 2nd and 3rd year Novice and Intermediate riders. Limited spaces available

Valid BMX Canada Licence required (Click here to renew) *Remember to pick Cornwall BMX as your home track!

Tuesdays from 6:00PM to 7:30PM. 

REGISTER ON-SITE

$20 per session.

The Learn to Race program will focus on:

  • BMX Racing fundamentals, and will introduce BMX specific skills and tactics.

 

GATE PRACTICE

For riders of all ages and skill levels, including brand new riders.
An opportunity to practice and train on our starting gate and enjoy some music while riding the track in a fun and non-competitive environment. A great opportunity to pick-up and work on some BMX racing skills and get used to riding the track.
 
Wednesdays from 6:00PM to 7:30PM.
REGISTER ON-SITE
$6 per session – FREE ONE DAY TRIAL MEMBERSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE
Participants must be able to pedal a bike and will require the following equipment:
• Bike (any kind, but BMX is preferred) with no pegs, no kickstands and any reflectors that stick out of the bike must be removed.
• Full Faced Helmet
• Long pants, Long sleeved shirt and gloves.
• Valid BMX Canada Licence or One Day Trial required *Remember to pick Cornwall BMX as your home track!

CLINIC, PRACTICE AND RACE DAY:

• To reduce the number of people on the grounds, we ask each participant to only bring one non-racing family member with them.
• The parent/guardian is only permitted in the spectator area (along the fence) during their child’s moto and must wear a mask if physical distancing can not be observed. Once the moto is complete the parent/guardian must vacate the spectator area.
• Physical distancing is required while on the track grounds.
• Riders must have all gear and helmets on when entering the track area.
• We ask that guardians of any young participant requiring assistance through staging and at the gate, wear masks while doing so.
• There will be No Loaner Helmets - please make sure you come prepared to practice and ride safely.
• At this time there will be NO Concessions so remember to bring your own snacks and water.
• We need volunteers to assist with Gates, and corners. Please see us at the track if you’re able to help out.
• Spectators are encouraged to wear masks.
• THERE ARE NO WAHSROOMS AT THE TRACK
