Starting at the 2026 Golden State Nationals, the remaining 11 amateur-only events of the 2026 season will be broadcast live exclusively on FloBikes. USA BMX Golden State Nationals Turn Bakersfield Into a Weekend Hub for National Series Racing

There&rsquo;s never been a better moment to get involved in Canadian BMX. Olympic prospects Molly Simpson and Ryan Tougas are helping motivate a new wave of young competitors, while the BMX Canada National Series gives riders the competition they need to grow and progress.
Hundreds of BMX athletes will gather at Heritage Park in Chilliwack, BC to kick off the BMX Canada National Series &mdash; The Fraser Valley BMX Nationals &mdash; the first of seven National weekends stretching from BC all the way to Ontario.
Over 600 competitors from Canada and the United States will take part on a purpose-built indoor BMX track as they begin their pursuit of National titles. The race format includes more than 100 motos, with riders grouped in heats of up to eight based on age and ability. Alongside the racing, attendees can explore vendors, team setups, appearances from Olympic hopefuls, and a range of food options available on-site.
Participants as young as two years old will compete on strider bikes, with divisions covering a wide range of ages and skill levels, including Superclass &mdash; the premier category featuring prize money for top finishers in the men&rsquo;s and women&rsquo;s divisions.
Admission is free for spectators, with racing running from Friday, May 8 through Sunday, May 10. The event is sanctioned by BMX Canada and supported by Tourism Chilliwack, Impact Canopy, Tangent Products, and Fly Racing. Gilbert, Ariz. (April 17, 2026) &ndash; USA BMX announced today that $57,000 in Bob Warnicke&nbsp;
&nbsp;Scholarships for 2026 has been awarded to deserving students. Awards ranged from $3,000 to
$500. USA BMX/BMX Canada members who have a current membership or Track
Operators/Officials who participate in BMX racing events sanctioned by USA BMX/BMX Canada
are eligible to apply. Since 2013, more than $757,000 has been awarded.
Every year funds are raised through the Bob Warnicke Scholarship Race series at the local&nbsp;
track level. Funds are earmarked to assist students and their families in meeting the costs of
undergraduate college education, trade school, and other educational avenues they would like
to pursue. The USA BMX Foundation has created an endowment for the Bob Warnicke
Memorial Scholarship Fund. Each year, money raised through the Bob Warnicke Scholarship
Races and the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony are placed into the endowment. Donations to
the 501 &copy; 3 are always appreciated and are utilized for the scholarship fund. For more

There's never been a more exciting time to be part of Canadian BMX. Olympic hopefuls Molly Simpson and Ryan Tougas continue to inspire the country's next generation of competitive riders, while the BMX Canada National Series provides the competitive foundation they need to develop. A new season is on the horizon, and a new wave of riders are eyeing the coveted BMX Canada National Age Group and Overall titles.&nbsp; BMX Canada is fully committed to delivering the highest-level of racing experiences while ensuring that the sport is well-positioned for continued growth.
Superclass racing is back for 2026 &mdash; and it's bringing even more heat. The Pro-Am style class delivered one of the most exciting events in recent memory on Superclass Saturday at the 2025 Canadian Grands and returns for its sophomore year. Expect a hungry pack of up-and-comers gunning for National Champions Zach Frier and Makayla Brosius.&nbsp; Meanwhile, the newly introduced 30+ Superclass shines a spotlight on BMX veterans and legends, giving these experienced riders their own battlefield for National glory. This division is expected to expand rapidly as more seasoned competitors step up to contend for the new title. Superclass will be featured at the Friday and Saturday National events.
Superclass Saturday at the Grands
After the dust settles from the Saturday National, you're invited back to the Red Barn to enjoy the new Canadian Grands Show. You'll have just enough time to hustle back to your room or campsite and freshen up before enjoying the pumped-up program.&nbsp; The new format combines the Superclass Final plus the 11-12 Trophy Dash and 13-16 Futures Showdown. New National Track vs. Track Club Competition BMX Canada is introducing a new Track Club vs. Track Club competition, and the best part is that we&rsquo;re doing all the work. No paperwork, no fees and no stress. The new competition is designed for tracks to rally behind all their riders, regardless of age or proficiency. We want to hear your cheers for every single moto! Every track with riders present is eligible and all riders are automatically rostered to the track listed on their membership. No team sheets required. We roll up all three days into an overall-Weekend score to determine the event winners and there will be year-end awards for the top three tracks in the series. How it works: Daily points are calculated using Main Event finishes. The top 10 scores count as follows; Best 4 scores from Expert or Cruiser + Best 4 scores from Intermediate + Best 2 scores from Novice = total points. The Future is now BMX Canada is all in on the next generation &mdash; building the talent that will keep Canada on the podium at home and on the world stage. First up, the 11-12 Trophy Dash puts the top 4 NAG-ranked riders against each other in a battle for the classic trophy. Then, the 13-16 Futures Showdown takes the top 4 NAG-ranked riders from the 13, 14, 15, and 16-year-old Boys and Expert Girls classes and throws them into an epic showdown, with special awards on the line at Superclass Saturday during the 2026 Canadian Grands.
