  • More work this weekend, Gate Practice coming soon!!!

We make a lot of progress last Sunday on preping the track for our return to scheduled events and to protect it from those fierce summer downpours we have been seeing more of these days. Lots more yet to complete on and off the track so we are planning to be out there again this weekend. Check out Facebook page and the RVA BMX group for details as the weekend approaches. Now, to the other part of the headline.....Pending City of Richmond moving to Phase 2 this Friday, and our plan for ...

  • Track work days starting June 1st

Track work days starting tomorrow June 1st. Grass cutting, grounds clean up, and track grooming. Monday and Tuesday look best, rest of the week we will plan from there. Some sections of the track may be closed as work is completed.

  • 2020 Season remains on hold

We, along with the rest of Richmond, continue to follow local and state guidelines for event Organization during the COVID-19 pandemic. The track remains open to the public following Richmond Parks and Rec and City of Richmond guidance for Gillies Creek Park as a whole. While the track remains open, large collections of riders or riders not observing social distancing guidelines can and will result in the closure of the track and park. We ask everyone, enjoy the track, but do not linger in...

  • All activities on hold

Per recommendations from The City of Richmond, all organized events at the track are postponed. The track is always open to the public and ready for all riders, but until we know more all races, practices and clinics are on hold.

  • 2020 is off and running

The 2020 season got off to a roaring start with the biggest Opening Day in our history (at least as far as we know anyway). With 290 total riders and 64 motos it was HUGE and with just a few minor issues with power for the gate, and long lines for registration, both of which we have plans to improve, it was super smooth. The track was in mid-season shape and the weather was perfect. We hope that everyone that came enjoyed the experience and look forward to seeing you again soon!
