USA BMX is pleased to announce the three host cities for the regional finals of the 2014 Gold Cup Championship series - presented by DK Bikes.
They are:
Date |
Event | Location | Track |
Oct. 3-5 | Gold Cup Central | Yukon, OK | Yukon BMX |
Oct. 10-12 | Gold Cup East | RockHill, SC | Novant Health BMX |
Oct. 17-19 | Gold Cup West | Chico, CA | Silver Dollar BMX |
These three Regional Finals will conclude the 70-race Gold Cup series, which began back in January and have been held at local BMX tracks throughout country.
Some of America’s fastest amateur athletes are expected to compete at each of the Gold Cup Finals, with their ultimate goal being to win the Gold Cup Championship No.1 title for their age and skill level. Up to 70 racers at each Regional Championship, will win themselves a Gold Cup No.1 plate, a Gold Cup jacket and a large Gold Cup trophy. Runner-ups in points will earn a No.2 or No.3 plate, with trophies going out to all finalists, and a podium presentation held at the end of Sunday’s competition.
This event could not have taken place without the excellent support of presenting sponsor, DK Bicycles of Dayton, Ohio.
