The time has almost come for another electrifying season of the USA BMX Pro Series. From seasoned veterans of the sport to the next generation rising through Futures, USA BMX remains committed to providing a stage that showcases the hard work, dedication, and resilience required at the highest level of BMX racing, both on and off the track.
Class Build
USA BMX is reintroducing Quarter Mains to the Pro Series race format, adding depth and intensity to each race day. The additional round rewards consistency, demands focus under pressure, and ensures advancement reflects true Pro-level performance from start to finish.
5-8 Riders - Total Point Format
9-16 Riders - Three Rounds, Top 8 to Main Event
17-32 - Three Rounds, Top 16 to Semi, Top 8 to Main Event
33+ - Three Rounds, Top 32 to Quarters, Top 16 to Semi, Top 8 to Main Event
Gate Selection Change
For the 2026 season, USA BMX will determine gate selection for advanced rounds based on each rider’s fastest time recorded across the first three rounds. This adjustment is intended to enhance competitiveness in the later rounds, while ensuring riders are not disadvantaged due to a 3rd round racing incident.
UCI Schedule
You will notice C2 events on the calendar. We want to be transparent about why these exist, as we know the points and payouts are lower than those for the top-tier stops.
The C2 events have a similar operational cost as C1 events. UCI is requiring these events.
To ensure full gates and better competition at these specific events, the Junior Elite and U23 classes will be combined into a single race class at all C2 stops. This creates a more competitive field. We have applied for the following events in 2026, but have yet to receive calendar confirmation from UCI. At this time, consider the events below as tentative.
March 6th, 2026 Lone Star Nationals - C2
March 27th, 2026 Carolina Nationals - USA Cycling National Championships
May 1st, 2026 Legacy Nationals - C1
May 22th, 2026 Music City Nationals - C2
September 4th, 2026 Derby City Nationals - C2
October 16th, 2026 Fall Nationals - HC
October 23rd, 2026 Gator Nationals - HC
USA BMX Pro Series Race Days
The 2026 Pro Series Events will be returning to Saturday & Sunday race days. This change is based on the UCI’s decision to designate the majority of the UCI C1, C2, and HC races on the Friday dates of our events. This change offers a unique opportunity to racers with more track time prior to the USA BMX Pro Series race days.
