USA BMX Great Salt Lake Nationals Returns to Syracuse, UT, Welcoming Top BMX Athletes From Across the Country 

Antelope BMX hosts the event from August 7-9 for a weekend of national-level competition and community celebration.

TULSA, Okla. (Aug. 03, 2026)—USA BMX, the world's largest BMX racing organization, returns to Syracuse, Utah, Aug. 7-9 for the USA BMX Great Salt Lake Nationals at Antelope BMX. Over three days of competition, athletes will battle for valuable championship points, national rankings and a spot among the sport’s elite competitors.

The Great Salt Lake Nationals mark stop no.23 of the 2026 USA BMX National Series and stop six of the 2026 USA BMX Pro Series. The three-day BMX competition will be held at Antelope BMX at 2261 W 3060 South in Syracuse. Races begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday, 9:30 a.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.

A national title is not decided at a single finish line – it is earned through consistency at every race along the way. The Great Salt Lake Nationals serves as a stop in the broader USA BMX National Series, welcoming riders from across the country as they compete for championship points and position in the national rankings. As athletes line up at the gate, each race will present another opportunity to test their skills and move one step closer to claiming the coveted title of USA BMX national champion.

The USA BMX Pro Series is the proving ground for the sport’s top professional racers. A season-long test of skill and resilience, top BMX riders compete throughout the season for points towards the championship, it’s crunch time for gaining points in the 2026 ranking and 2-time National #1 Pro, Cam Wood will start his quest for his 3rd pro title this weekend in Utah. Joining Cam at the Antelope BMX track will be pros from around the globe that are eager to return to racing after the recent UCI BMX World Championships were abruptly cancelled due to weather.

Northern Utah's scenic beauty and family-friendly attractions makes it easy to turn a weekend of championship BMX racing into a memorable Utah getaway for the whole family. Outside of the track, visitors can explore the trails and waterfront at Antelope Island State Park, take in the sweeping views of the Great Salt Lake or spend an afternoon at nearby Jensen Nature Park.
