The 2027 USA BMX Pro Series schedule is here, and it reads like a love letter to the sport's history. Eleven stops over nine months, three Silver Cups to claim, and a 50th-anniversary season that starts in Perris and ends in Tulsa.

The action ramps up for another legendary USA BMX Series and the series is also part of the Road to LA 2028, with UCI C1 and HC level events on the calendar. ABA Futures and Pros will race both traditional tracks and Olympic-caliber Supercross layouts, so riders chasing the National No. 1 plate will need to be complete racers, not just specialists.

Starting in Title Town

The season opens March 19-21 at Grand Prix BMX in Perris, CA, for the Golden State Nationals. Perris has long been tied to high-level competition thanks to dedicated pioneer track operators like Mike Redman. Returning to Grand Prix BMX provides a deeply meaningful opportunity to celebrate the legacy of the late Mike "Redbone" Redman.  Redman was the heart of this very facility as the former track operator of Grand Prix BMX and as spring racing heats up, it's a fitting place to start handing out early points as Redbone’s iconic voice is the one heard on the starting-gate cadence at BMX tracks worldwide and will start the pro series for the 50th USA BMX season. .

Two Weeks, Two Stories

April brings back-to-back stops with vastly different courses. In Houston (April 16-18), H-Town BMX hosts the Lone Star Nationals, and with the city and Houston Sports Authority preparing for the 2028 World Championships, it doubles as a preview for World Champ hopefuls.

A week later (April 23-25), the series heads to Hardesty National BMX Stadium in Tulsa for the Legacy Nationals. This is the home of USA BMX headquarters and the National BMX Hall of Fame and Museum, and in a 50th-anniversary year the stop carries extra weight. You can walk through the history, then watch the next generation write more of it.

Summer on the Road

Music City BMX in Nashville hosts Memorial Day Weekend (May 28-30) and debuts a new, upgraded surface built to handle whatever the weather throws at it. Expect faster speeds.

Then it's Independence Day weekend (July 2-4) at South Park BMX outside Pittsburgh. The track has new straights and upgraded turns, and it should reward the riders willing to send it.

In early August, the series heads to Rad Canyon BMX in South Jordan, UT (August 6-8), where the surrounding mountain ranges frame the Great Salt Lake Nationals. Upgraded staging areas and a revised track layout should make it a strong late-summer stop.

North of the Border

Just days later (September 10-12), the Can-Am Nationals take the series to Abbotsford BMX in British Columbia, a training ground for some of Canada's fastest and fastest-developing talent. The Pro Series runs alongside a BMX Canada National Series event on the Supercross track, which should make for an excellent cross-border showdown.

The Fall Stretch

October is packed as US soil turns home to 4 UCI World Cup stops, then turns to back-to-back weekends of USA BMX Pro Series racing in Florida & Kentucky.  Sarasota BMX hosts the Gator Nationals (October 8-10), with Florida's warm weather and a close-by beach. The following weekend (October 15-17), "The World Famous Derby City BMX" in Louisville hosts the Derby City Nationals.

This one comes with a twist. For 2027, the festival-style event shifts to pre-Halloween October instead of its legendary Labor Day slot. It's likely a one-time change, which makes this 2027 edition a bit of a collector's item.

The regular season closes October 29-31 at Metro BMX in Bakersfield with the Fall Nationals, one last chance to make a mark before the finale.

The Greatest Race on Earth

Known globally as "The Greatest Race on Earth", this mega-event has been a Tulsa Thanksgiving tradition for over a quarter-century and everything funnels toward November 24-28 and the ROC/Grand National at the SageNet Center in Tulsa. Thousands of racers will load into the gate, but only a few will climb the stage as USA BMX National No. 1. Whether it's your first Grand Nationals or your 50th, it's the sport's biggest family reunion drawing over 3,600 athletes from all 50 states and 25 different countries, the weekend routinely pushes past 950 motos
