As most anyone knows, Samuel has Autism. We have recieved a lot of backlash on and off the track since we started over him being "too big", "too rough", "not staying in his lane", being impatient, jumping the gun at the start of a strider race... just so much ignorance between "teams" easpecially those that continue to say they love the sport and are willing to help any kids. It seems that they just want to speak about my child as if he's a bad kid. He's not, he learns in his own way and we have to sometimes walk away. Well Sam overheard someone "talking mean" and decided he didn't want to race anymore. It took a lot of coaxing and discussion because we know he loves racing but we got him back on the track with the promise of getting to ride the "big track". Well as of 1 regular race and Nationals, I'm proud to say Super Sammy has hit the main track! I hope the people who have judged not only him but me and my parenting learn to keep their negative opinions to themselves and let Sam be Sam and do what he loves!

That being said for those who support him, his journeys, and celebrate his accomplishments with him, Thank you and we love you!
