Greater Toronto Nationals take over Stouffville BMX for stop 5 on the BMX Canada National Tour

Top BMX riders from Canada and the US are set to battle for valuable National points at the 5th stop in the Canadian National Series. The National weekend marks the last chance for Eastern riders to earn points before the Canadian Grands.

PRESS RELEASE

Hundreds of BMX athletes will converge at Stouffville BMX, Ontario for the 5th stop in BMX Canada National Series — The Greater Toronto BMX Nationals — the fifth of seven National weekends stretching from BC all the way to Ontario.

Over 500 competitors from Canada and the United States will go head-to-head in pursuit of National titles and district points – The race format features riders grouped in heats of up to eight based on age, gender, and ability. Alongside the racing, attendees can explore vendors, team setups, appearances from Olympic hopefuls, and a range of food options available on-site.

Participants as young as two years old will compete on strider bikes, with divisions covering a wide range of ages and skill levels, including Superclass — the premier category featuring prize money for top finishers in the men’s and women’s divisions.

Admission is free for spectators, with racing running from Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9. The event is sanctioned by BMX Canada and supported by Impact Canopy, Tangent Products, and Fly Racing. A full event schedule can be found here.

Around the Region – Stouffville is a vibrant town, just a short drive Northeast of Toronto. Stouffville, Ontario tourism centers on outdoor adventure, rural charm, and agritourism, highlighted by Bruce's Mill Conservation Area, a historic downtown, and local farm experiences. Managed under the Discover Stouffville initiative, the town draws day-trippers from the Greater Toronto Area.
