January 2024: 2023 did not end the way I had worked for or expected to finish. Winning 4-Nationals as an Intermediate (Blue Ridge, Rock Hill and 2 at Pittsburgh), turning Expert half way through the year, finishing 2nd in NE Gold Cup and winning the final on Sunday and the end to the season happened before Grands. Took it easy, did what I was supposed to and January 1, I was on the gate at VMP. Going to be a little bit of an uphill climb, I will succeed. See you around the circuit! Thanks to all my sponsors and my Doctors that helped me get back to doing what I enjoy. January 2023: 2022 - WOW! What did 2022 hold for me? A LOT!!! I started off the year as a 4-year old headed to Florida for a National. What were we thinking? It was an experience and a mini vacation in January. I made my first main in a National about 2 weeks later at Lexington, VA - Blue Ridge Nationals. Around March, dad knew I needed a new frame (the micro was to small), so after many phone calls he found one. I was hooked up with Velocity Bike Co. I didn't know what was about to happen. At Music City I made the mains all 3 days (don't think I missed a main after that!), and from then it was on. By November, I raced 28 Nationals, plus ROC and GRANDS! With a lot of support from my team and travel with mom and dad, I went into Grands setting 13th in points. As I progressed to Sunday I made my way through quarters and semis to the Main. They dropped the gate and I was gone. Even after slipping a pedal on the 4th straightI managed a 3rd place finish and NAG11 overall for 2022. Thank you to all who supported me through the year. Especially John Robbins with Velocity Bike Co. So what does 2023 hold? I will find out! March 2022: Richmond BMX is my home track. March 2021, I started racing my balance bike, and shortly thereafter I was off and pedaling. I raced every race we could at Richmond weekly. As my friends started venturing out and following the State Series, my parents allowed me to follow and race too. I raced all 5 state races and the State Championship this year, finishing 4th in points. I met a lot of good friends along the way. The other highlight was when I raced at the East Coast Nationals this year - It was a great experience. Lastly, my parents took me to Southern MD and Burlington NC to race also. What does 2022 hold for me? See you weekly at Richmond and quite a few of the Nationals!!
