April 11th Race Report - 2015 Season Kick-off
The club was worried that the weather wasn't going to cooperate for the second weekend in a row. But lucky for us North Shore BMX kicked off its season with an unexpected phenomenal day.
Although it was our first race we had families come from Langley, Maple Ridge, Squamish and even had a family sneak over the boarder from Washington!!
The track is still a work in progress but the feedback was good. We have tweaked a few areas after and hope to get some dirt from the District of North Vancouver to smooth out the jump faces and straights.
The volunteers, you know who you are, were the lube on the bicycle chain. The girls behind the counter killed it with and were busy all day long!!
After the races we had a relaxed riding session with all the people who stayed after to play.
Again, incredible turnout and we can't wait to work out the wrinkles and do it all over again!! Thanks for the support and bringing your kids out to race :)
