Recognition_Ceremony

Please note that you cannot race with the license you purchased at our track at this event. You NEED to purchase Cycling BC licence (UCI or Provincial Race Licence - Citizen) for this event.

Each year Cycling BC sanctions the BMX Provincial Championships, inviting all BMX racers from across BC together to determine the Provincial BMX Champions in each age group. This is the highest ranking race in the Province and is a Nationally recognized event, in which athletes earn points towards their National ranking and World Championship qualification. This is one of two qualifier races for the 2017 UCI World Championship in Rock Hill, SC United States (more information about the 2017 UCI World Chamipionship). This race will identify British Columbia athletes eligible to enter the 2017 World Championship race.

The Provincial Championship is an age group race only. There are no class distinctions in order to decide the true Provincial Champion for each age group. (see details in the 2016 BC BMX Championship Technical Guide)
