As you may or may not know North Shore BMX has just completed its second Provincial Race since switching to BMX Canada. It’s with our great pleasure we say that not only have our membership grown but the Provincial entries from last year to this year have also increased, we were very slightly south of 200 registered riders!!!

There is so much that goes into making a race like this happen. What most people don’t see is the work that goes into making the race happen before the actual race day both on the track and in the registration booth. Our volunteers in the “hot box” (probably named so because all our volunteers are very pretty) did a phenomenal job taking care of the administration side of the race while other volunteers, sweeping, running the corners and attending downed riders also all did an incredible job. We are humbled to have so many nice people, parents and riders spending time at our track.

Also, a special thanks goes out to James Town who is relentlessly checking names and number while figuring out which goes to what!! No easy feat under the hot sun! If you see him, give him a big thanks.

At the end of the day we are very happy to be a part of helping generating a great atmosphere for our community to enjoy!
